Lite Source Inc. is an authorized Reichert distributor. Reichert has extended their trade-in rebate through the end of the year and applies to the Tono-Pen AVIA, the Tono-Vera Rechargeable, and the Tono-Vera AA Battery models.

Reichert's manufacturer trade-in rebate program has been extended through December 31, 2026. After purchasing a new device, submit a qualifying handheld tonometer directly to Reichert and receive an additional $795 back. The trade-in rebate is a Reichert manufacturer program and is processed directly by Reichert. One trade-in per device purchased. Schiotz and Perkins models are excluded.
About these devices
Both devices require single-use tip covers or probes for each measurement. The Tono-Pen AVIA uses Ocu-Film tip covers, either in bulk or wrapped packaging. These are disposable latex covers that protect against cross-contamination and are specifically engineered for accurate Tono-Pen performance. Reichert notes that non-brand tip covers can cause erratic or inaccurate readings, so genuine Ocu-Film covers are strongly recommended. The Tono-Vera uses Ocu-Dot probes, single-use, sterile disposable probes designed for the device. We stock both, along with AVIA replacement batteries and AA batteries, so you can order everything in one place.
