This is the Osram 21259 Germicidal bulb for use in in UV-C irradiance. Provides purification without the use of chemicals. Ideal for water and air purification systems. Puritec HNS lamps are reliable and efficient sources with long service life. Additionally, the special outer glass tube absorbs the lower wavelengths, suppressing the formation of ozone and ensuring environmentally friendly sterilization.
Cleaning & Care
Be careful to avoid handling UV bulbs with your bare hands since the oils on your fingertips can cause inconsistencies in performance. If you do touch the bulb, it’s ok, just wipe it down with an alcohol swab. The bulbs can get hot! Let it cool down before you take it out of the equipment.
