Incandescent

We carry all types of incandescent light bulbs in a variety of shapes and sizes. Whether you need a decorative chandelier lamp or a flood bulb for your display lighting, Lite Source has the incandescent bulb for you!

  • A Shaped

The A-shaped incandescent light bulb is what most think of when they imagine a light bulb with its classic pear shape and usual medium screw base. These bulbs have long been used as standard household or office light bulbs, particularly in lamps and certain fixtures. The incandescent version of these bulbs, for higher wattages, are being phased out in favor of LED to reduce energy consumption.

  • C Shaped

C shaped bulbs are known for their conical shape. This incandescent bulb is often used in night lights, old fashioned holiday lighting, and sconces. They are also used in a wide variety of professional and medical applications like the Stereo Optical vision tester or a dental x-ray duplicator light.

  • Decorative

Our decorative incandescent bulbs are commonly found in household applications like vanity lighting, chandeliers, sconces and more. However, these bulbs can also be used in various medical and professional applications. We have shapes globe, blunt-tipped or flame-tipped. The decorative incandescent bulbs are also being manufactured as LEDs for greater energy efficiency.

  • R & BR Shaped

R and BR shaped incandescent bulbs are a popular choice for indoor can and recessed lighting. The inside is coated with a reflective material to cast the beam of light outward from the lamp. The dome shape of the bulb diffuses the light to gradually fade the light, reducing shadows. R and BR codes can be used interchangeably where an R20 would be the same as a BR20.
  • S Shaped

S shaped incandescent bulbs are found in many ophthalmic and medical applications. The ā€œSā€ stands for straight-sided, however, they tend to have a more pear shape. The smaller the S incandescent bulb gets, the more it resembles a G shaped bulb, making it difficult to identify without additional information.
  • T Shaped

T shaped incandescent light bulbs, also known as tubular shaped bulbs, are used in a wide range of applications. They are commonly found in exit signs or are the shape of older projector light bulbs.
