Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions constitute a binding agreement between the customer and Lite Source, Inc. By accessing or using this website or contact through telephone, email or fax, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, do not access or use this site. The act of making a purchase, placing an order, or otherwise shopping on www.litesourceinc.comwebsite or contact through telephone, email or fax constitutes acceptance of Lite Source, Inc. Terms and Conditions.

Minimum Order
Lite Source, Inc. or www.litesourceinc.com has no minimum order for purchases.

Special Orders
Special orders may have extended lead times. These items can only be returned for manufacturer’s defect and only within 20 days of the original invoice. Certain special order items are non-cancelable. Other restrictions may apply depending on the manufacturer’s policies. Please see the return policy tab on individual products for additional details.

Backorders
Our website provides different levels of stock status notifications. We will notify you of any backordered item. Backorders will be immediately shipped as soon as the item becomes available. 

Refused Shipments
Orders refused will result in a 25% restocking fee in addition to freight charges both ways. If you would like to cancel an order after it has already shipped, accept the package and then contact us for a return authorization. UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver a package in the event the office is closed. Any returned package due to office closure will constitute a refused package. Restocking and return shipping fees will be incurred.

Payment terms
Terms on orders with approved credit are Net 30 days. Contact customerservice@litesourceinc.com to fill out a credit application. All other orders must be prepaid with credit card, AmazonPay, PayPal or ACH/eCheck. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. A fee of $35.00 will be assessed on all returned checks. Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% finance charge.

Shipping
All orders are shipped Ground unless special handling is requested. Shipping charges will be quoted at the time of ordering and will be added to the invoice. Sales tax will be added to items and shipping unless your state has special taxation rules. Most items are carried in stock and will be shipped the same day if ordered before 3:30 pm Eastern time.

HAZMAT products (hazardous materials) Certain popular items such as hand sanitizer and germicidal wipes are HAZMAT products. Due to their alcohol content, they are highly flammable and need to be transported safely. Some carriers are delaying the delivery of HAZMAT products in order to organize their delivery trucks and distribution centers in the safest possible manner for their employees. Because of this, delays can occur on orders containing these products and certain shipping methods may not be available.

International Shipping Each country has their own rules and regulations with the acceptance of imported packages. Some countries have suspended service completely while others have considerable service disruptions. Shipping to an international address will be done with the expectation that there is no guaranteed delivery date. Click here to see the most current details by country for shipping.

Shipping Promotions
Free shipping promotions are limited to 1 shipment per order. If your order contains items that are not in stock and you request a partial shipment on in-stock items, a separate shipping charge may apply.
Certain special order items and orders with special quoted pricing may not be eligible for free shipping promotions.

Sales Tax
Sales tax will be collected and remitted on transactions in which we have a physical presence (Kentucky) as well as those states in which we have economic sales tax nexus as determined by individual state thresholds.

Prices
Lite Source represents hundreds of manufacturers that update their pricing on different schedules. Although we try to maintain pricing for the year, there are price changes that are unavoidable. Therefore, prices are subject to change without notice.

Distributors and Resellers
We welcome sales to other distributors and resellers. If you would like to get a specialized quote for on-going business, please email customerservice@litesourceinc.com. A credit application, current reseller certificate and minimum annual sales are required to qualify for special reseller pricing.

Return Policy
Errors made by Lite Source, Inc. will be corrected at our expense.
All returns must have a Return Authorization (RA) Number.
An RA must be requested within 30 days of the original invoice. A restocking fee of 25% will apply to all items after 30 days. No returns will be allowed for invoices over 1 year. You can request an RA Number online, by phone (1-800-523-0860) or FAX (1-502-266-9266). Exchanges and credits cannot be processed without one. You will be emailed your RA Number with instructions on how to send the items back to us. The returned items must be received within 30 days of the RMA issue date. An RA Number does not guarantee credit. All items must be inspected before any exchange or credit can be issued. Defective items must be tested and deemed defective by the manufacturer and non-defective items (overstocks, no longer needed items, ordering errors) must be in a sellable condition and may be subject to a restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable on non-defective returns. Approved store credits are valid for 2 years from date of credit before expiring.

It is the customer’s responsibility to return the items to us. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. If the items are damaged due to insufficient packaging, we cannot test them, therefore, no credit or replacements can be given, even for defective items. If lost in transit, it is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim with the carrier.

All PPE & infection prevention sales are final. If damaged or lost in transit, contact us to receive instructions for replacement. All special order sales are final. These items are only returnable for manufacturer’s defects and a replacement will be sent. Request for replacement must be made within 20 days of invoice date. No Flash Tube or special order returns will be accepted after 20 days.

Equipment and instruments are covered by an express warranty against manufacturer’s defects provided through the manufacturer. If you believe your product is defective and is under warranty, please contact us so we can help connect you to the correct manufacturer contact for resolution. 

Average Life of a bulb is not a warranty. It is only an estimate of how long a bulb might last.

Fraud Protection
Online orders that are billed and shipped to different addresses will go through a second level of verification prior to shipping. You may receive an email asking for clarification on the end user of the product to ensure that recipient and the billed party are aware of each other.

Trademarks & Logos
Any trademarks and logos used are the property of their owners and are protected by copyright and trademark laws and other intellectual property rights. Images created by Lite Source, Inc. are federally protected under multiple copyright registrations. The contents of this website and any catalog distributed by Lite Source, Inc. are the property of Lite Source, Inc. and may not be reproduced without our express written consent. All photographs not owned by Lite Source, Inc. are used with permission.

Governing Law
This website is operated or controlled by Lite Source, Inc. from within the USA. The principal office of Lite Source, Inc. is located in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA. You agree that your use of this website, and any claims you may have relating to such use, are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA and, to the extent applicable, the federal laws of the USA.
